Output devices are technology that allow data to be given out of a computer. Examples are: speakers, LTD monitors, printers or CRT monitors.
CRT Monitors
Cathode-Ray Tube monitors display text and images passed to it by the computer. They are commonly used by designers, who need to see accurate colours and brightness. An advantage is they are cheaper than TFT monitors; a disadvantage is that CRT monitors are heavy and take up a lot of desk space.
TFT Monitors
Thin Film Transistor monitors also displays text and images passed to it by the computer. An advantage is that they are light and take up very little desk space. But, they have a good picture quality.
